I wanted to open today’s affirmation with a message about gratitude because no matter what kind of year you’ve had, there were moments to be grateful for.
Gratitude isn’t just a feel-good emotion—it’s a mindset that can change the way you experience your entire life. Expressing gratitude shifts your energy, helps you focus on abundance instead of lack, and aligns you with the good that life has to offer. And I think we all can agree that we’d love to continue attracting more GOOD that life has to offer.
In the book, The Science of Getting Rich, the author said it best: “The grateful mind is constantly fixed upon the best. Therefore, it tends to become the best; it takes the form or character of the best and will receive the best.” In modern day terms that means, gratitude helps you attract more of what you desire by focusing on the positive.
Here are three tangible ways you can start cultivating gratitude NOW and carry it into the next year:
- Write Down Ten Things You’re Grateful For Every Morning. This is a game-changer. Begin your day by focusing on what’s going right in your life. This shifts your perspective from looking at problems to looking for possibilities.
- Send Love to Anyone Who Is Bothering You. I learned this from Bob Proctor. I know, this one can feel hard, but it’s worth it. Instead of holding onto negativity, send love to those who challenge you or have really pissed you off—not for them, but for you. This simple act frees up mental space and puts you in a vibration that attracts more positive energy.
- Take Five Minutes to Be Still and Ask for Guidance. Take a moment to be quiet and ask for clarity or direction for your day. This helps you feel grounded, purposeful, and open to the opportunities ahead.
If you have the Affirmation Babe You Can Have It All journal, you probably are already doing these 3 things each morning These 3 exercises are a part of the first page in the journal, and it’s incredibly powerful.
What’s amazing about gratitude is that it doesn’t just help you feel better in the moment… it can actually change your circumstances. When you focus on what you do have, instead of what you lack, your energy shifts, and you begin to attract more of what you want.
So, as we prepare to close out the year and dive into today’s affirmations, let’s take a moment to reflect on all the ways gratitude can help us release the past, let of go of negativity, and embrace growth.
You have the power to release what no longer serves you and step boldly into a new chapter. The fact that you’re here, prioritizing your mindset and showing up for yourself, proves just how ready you are to create a life that is aligned, fulfilling, and overflowing with everything your heart desires.
Read, listen to, and repeat these affirmations for ending your year on a positive note:
As this year comes to a close, I release any lingering negativity and I fully embrace the lessons this year brought me. I am proud of how I am choosing to show up and take care of myself, prioritizing my growth and well-being. I am deeply grateful for all that I’ve learned this year—the wisdom gained, the resilience built, and the truths I’ve discovered about myself. I embrace change as a natural and necessary part of my journey, knowing that every shift is guiding me toward growth and alignment. I trust in my ability to adapt and thrive, no matter what life brings. I choose to celebrate my progress, knowing that I am exactly where I need to be. I welcome new opportunities with an open mind and an open heart, confident in my ability to grow through every experience. I let go of self-doubt and step into a new year filled with possibilities and confidence. I honor my strength and the ways I’ve navigated challenges with grace, and I forgive myself for any mistakes, seeing them as stepping stones for future success. With gratitude in my heart, I close this chapter and open myself to a brighter, more aligned future. I am excited for the fresh opportunities ahead, trusting that the universe has my back and that everything is unfolding in my favor. Every ending is a new beginning, and I welcome the new year with love in my heart, peace in my mind, and determination in my spirit. I reflect on the good, release what no longer serves me, and carry forward only positivity and light. I embrace the growth that change brings, knowing that it’s shaping me into the next level version of the person I am becoming. This is my time to shine, to evolve, and to create the life I desire. I am ready for the best chapter of my life. Greatness already lives within in, and allllll the goodness I desire is on its way to me now!
