I’m not 100% positive, but I think the baby dropped yesterday. If you don’t know what this means…well, I am not going to be of much help, ha! Actually I was watching a pregnancy video and it said that your body goes into pre-labor about 4 weeks before delivery – it said that the baby drops down lower and you can start feeling small “practice” contractions.
I am pretty sure this is what is happening to me now. Although in this photo, she looks like she is hanging out a bit higher, shortly after this photo I swear she did some sort of ninja move and dropped down!
I am not necessarily uncomfortable right now, but I am definitely feeling much heavier. In the past I have said that I thought 9 months wasn’t long enough to carry the baby because there is so much to do… Well, I take it back. Lol. There may be a lot to do, but I basically don’t want to get any bigger. I feel like I am maxed out. The stretch is starting to get REAL. REALNESS is happening!
Anyways, the ‘lil totĀ the size of a Honeydew this week. I actually feel like I am carrying around a honeydew on my waist. Yep; like I said…it’s getting real…reeeeeally fast.
So in other news, my brother is here visiting this week. He has been here for a few days and I am so happy to have him around. He will be coming back when Lily is born, but he wanted to come visit me while I was still carrying the baby. Next time we visits I will have the lil tot with me and he and I will be “uncle & mama!” So crazy to wrap my brain around.
We have had a really great visit so far. He took me to float in a sensory deprivation tank, and it was incredible! Such a relaxing treatĀ for anyone, especially pregnant women. I’ll be sharing the experience soon.
By the way, can you believe it’s Halloween weekend? Geesh, time is flying. Tonight we are going to a Zombie Burlesque show on the strip! Yes, I am going to take the almost 9 month belt bump out on the town! My feet and my back are probably not going to be happy with me, but I am not going to be a couch potato during the festivities!
