Moving on after a breakup can be a challenging, triggering process- which is why we created a special affirmation episode to support you and help you navigate this time. Your mind has the power to keep you emotionally stuck, or it can assist you in moving forward. The latter is what these affirmations are designed to achieve. Let’s get through this, together. 

Breakups & Moving Forward: Emotionally Supportive & Reassuring Affirmations 

This is a hard thing I am going through, but I will heal, move on, and feel whole again. In fact, this isn’t a break UP, this is a break THROUGH. For whatever reason or reasons, my former person is no longer meant to be my life partner. They once served a beautiful purpose as my companion, and now that purpose has been fulfilled. I am trusting the bigger picture, the greater plan for my life, and I am letting go now so I can make room for what is meant to be in my future. Even though it hurts, I trust. I find comfort and hope and excitement in what is and what is to to come. Every day, as I move through the grieving process, I am feeling more complete and more “back to myself.” All the while, I am extra gentle, forgiving, and compassionate towards myself. I am honoring my feelings and holding space for myself as I move through all the phases of this separation. Feelings that aren’t FELT become suppressed, only to bubble up later. With that said, I am consciously choosing to FEEL in the present, so I don’t bring emotional baggage into the future. I feel in order to heal. When I am feeling centered and calm, I reflect on my former relationship and collect the wonderful, beneficial lessons it taught me. I am grateful for all of the good times we shared, and for all of the ways this relationship contributed to my personal evolution. This gratitude will help enable me to grow, to move forward, and to gain closure. This relationship was not meant to last forever, and that is ok. Even if it doesn’t feel ok or right right now. I am learning to accept and release. I am holding onto only the positive aspects and elements that relationship left me with. My former partner will always be part of my story, but soon they will read as just another character in a past chapter- the emotional trigger that accompanies their name will fade. And I am going to emerge from this better than ever before. I am an amazing person. I have so much to offer. I love myself. I am strong. I am independent. I am confident. I am free. I am at the very beginning of a new chapter. I have a vibrant future ahead of me, and I cannot wait to see all of the blessings it has in store.
