Hey y’all! Hope your Saturday is going well. So today I am heading to a fashion show at the mall here in Las Vegas. I am writing this so quickly as my hair is drying and I multi-tasking trying to think what the hell I am going to wear.
That’s blogger life right????? A million things happening at once, but first… post on the blog.
This week, Lily and I have been under the weather. Lil had to get on an antibiotic for an ear infection AND because her toe got infected?!? (So odd!) I started feeling crummy too and on top of that the sides of my face were breaking out, which brings me to the topic of this blog post.
Growing up I had really bad acne. I had acne all over my face, my chest, my back and my arms.
I tried everything to cure my breakouts, but I didn’t know much about natural remedies. I actually thought that my skin was too problematic for natural remedies, and that they wouldn’t be strong enough.
As I grew older, I was introduced to a healthier lifestyle and I became really interested in natural cures. A friend introduced me to essential oils and I realized just how powerful these natural oils are! I wish I had known more about using plants as medicine when I was a teenager because I’m sure I would have been able to forgo many of the prescription drugs I used to treat my acne.
One really easy way to cure breakouts is by applying Lemon and Mint!
Lemon works to calm redness caused by inflammation, and mint is a natural antibiotic that eliminates bacteria.
Forget using harsh chemicals; try this natural remedy – it’s so easy too!

Been using this remedy for the last couple of nights since you posted on Instagram and it’s totally been helping! I’ve also been spraying the Lavender cooling mist right after and before bed!
That’s so awesome Susana! I love that!
