Gingerbread no-bake globes are a part of my new DO LESS & ENJOY MORE lifestyle.
Check out the recipe in action HERE!
If you’re on my email list, you read about how I changed my approach to the holidays (and every day) after our past Thanksgiving.
I want to BE with the ones I love; living fully present and enjoying our time with each other, NOT stuck in the kitchen all day.
SO that brings me to this recipe. This is an updated vintage Lipstick and Berries recipe btw. (were you around in the L&B days? I’d love to know)
These gingerbread globes are EASY, delicious, and refined sugar-free. (Actually they are SOS-Free which means Salt, Oil, & Sugar-Free.)
They are seriously bursting with flavor. Note the spices – SO many powerful spices.
Here is what great about these Gingerbread Globes:
- Fiber-full due to all whole foodsÂ
- Antioxidants are abundant due to cinnamon, cloves & dates
- Healthy Energy Source from natural date sweetness
- Vitamins & Minerals (potassium, magnesium, sulfur, etc)
- Healthy fat & protein source from variety of raw nutsÂ
- They taste like festive GINGERBREAD!!
You can substitute any kind of nut you want; just keep measurements the same. Hazelnuts or brazil nuts would work well in this.
Get creative with your toppings (the stuff you roll it in). Rolling the globes helps them not stick to the plate, and also makes them look nicer.
For chocolate chips I like to use Enjoy Life Mini Chocolate Chips. Another alternative is Raw Cacao Nibs (I typically use the Terrasoul brand), which is also great for a topping and gives them a crunch.
I am excited to bring back more SOS-Free recipes to the blog!
I am currently updating my L&B recipes and choosing what is suitable now for the blog. We are are a bit less of a purist around here these days, a lot more chic, AND more focused on delivering value to you with content & recipe flavor perfection.
ENJOY this bursting-with-flavor-and-health Gingerbread Globes recipe, and let me know if you decide to make it.
BTW, these can be stored in the refrigerator for a week and kept in freezer for 2 months.
