Let’s talk about the ultimate summer refreshment: Watermelon Mint Juice. This drink is my go-to for staying cool and hydrated during those hot summer days. Plus, it’s super easy to make with just 2 ingredients!

Why I Love Watermelon Mint Juice:

  • Ultra Hydrating: Watermelon is 90% water, making it perfect for staying hydrated when it’s hot AF outside.
  • Simple and Delicious: With just watermelon and mint, this drink is EASY to make and refreshingly simple yet packed with flavor.

Watermelon Benefits:

  • Hydration: With its high water content, watermelon helps keep you hydrated.
  • Nutrient-Rich: It’s packed with vitamins A, B6, and C, which support immune function, skin health, and more.
  • Antioxidants: Contains lycopene and beta-carotene, which help fight free radicals and reduce inflammation.
  • Heart Health: Lycopene also supports heart health by improving circulation and reducing blood pressure.
  • Muscle Soreness: Contains amino acids like citrulline, which can help reduce muscle soreness and improve recovery.

Mint Benefits:

  • Digestive Health: Mint can help soothe the stomach and improve digestion.
  • Fresh Breath: Its natural aroma and antibacterial properties can freshen your breath.
  • Antioxidants: Mint leaves are rich in antioxidants, which help protect your cells from damage.
  • Mental Clarity: The aroma of mint can help enhance focus and mental clarity.

      Pro Tips:

      • Add Green Tea Ice Cubes: to level up the nutrients, swap regular ice cubes for green tea ice cubes without changing the flavor.
      • Add Aloe: Sometimes, I like to add a splash of aloe juice or scrape some fresh aloe from the leaf into the juice. It’s an awesome addition that boosts the drink’s hydration and health benefits.
      • Remove Foam: If you prefer a smoother texture, you can skim the foam off the top of the juice, or strain in a fine mesh strainer afterwards. It’s not necessary, but it does give the juice a cleaner look.

      INGREDIENTS

      • 1/2 Small Watermelon cubed
      • Handful Fresh Mint Leaves
      • Handful Ice Cubes or green tea ice cubes

      DIRECTIONS

      1. Blend all ingredients in a high speed blender and then strain in a fine mesh strainer remove foam.

      There you have it—my favorite way to enjoy watermelon every day in the summer. Try it out and let me know how you like it. I have a feeling it’ll become your summer staple too!
