Today’s smoothie is refreshing treat with an herbal twist.
I LOVE adding herbs to my smoothies.
Rosemary happens to be one of my favorite herbs. It pairs well with berries, citrus, and starches (like in my Sweet Potato Pie Smoothie).
This smoothie is packed with nutritional benefits. We’re talking ninja-like health properties: anti-cancer benefits, immune support, memory boosting ingredients, bacteria-fighting, immune system strength!
Herbs are powerful foods that are SO easy to use, but they also can be easy to forget about. I challenge you to try using one fresh herb every day. There are so many ways you can use them.
You can add basil leaves to your favorite homemade green juice recipe.
Don’t forget about essential oils! Adding a drop of sage oil to your hot water helps fight colds!
Add herbs like dill, thyme, or basil to your soups.
Simply add mint leaves to your water bottle in the morning.
Anyways, there’s a few ideas to get your mind churning!

Just a heads up, this smoothie is the consistency of a juice. Also, you can strain it to remove the berry seeds if you like. Either way is great.
