I know that practicing a healthy lifestyle can be overwhelming at times. The best advice I can give you is to focus on the day at hand. Instead of focusing on how much weight you need to lose or dwelling on all the unhealthy foods you have eaten in the past, focus on what changes you can make today!
A few years ago, my first step into a healthier lifestyle started by adding one green smoothie to my daily routine. …And when I say green smoothie, it wasn’t that green. Lol! (Hey, we all start somewhere!) It was mostly fruit with a little sprinkle of baby spinach. As I continued and felt comfortable with my new smoothie, I began to add a little more spinach to the blender and finally graduated to adding raw kale and swiss chard to my drinks! I took baby steps to get where I am today, and this is exactly what I am encouraging you to do! Pick one new healthy habit and then choose the next one when you feel comfortable enough for a bit more change.

Many people think a healthy lifestyle is only about the food you eat, but this simply is not the case. Feding your mind with daily positive thoughts is just as vital to maintaining a healthy lifestyle as your food choices! Practice living without guilt of your food choices and practice being kind to your self. Your thoughts become your reality, so make your thoughts beautiful ones.
