Today is the last day I’ll ever be 36 ✨ and I am excited for level 37. 💜
I have my moments here & there where I freak out that time is passing so quickly and I’ll think how much time has passed since a memory (ex, last night I remembered that i graduated high school almost 20 years ago & had a short lived existential crisis).
But I always come back to this:
It’s a PRIVILEGE to age. 🙌
The alternative to aging is… not getting there at all. I could be 37 OR have not ever made it to 37.
One of my sweetest hair extension clients shared this thought on aging with me one day, and I immediately adopted it as my new belief. I love this perspective. It’s clear why having gratitude for every age is the way to live.
Not everyone gets the opportunity to age, so each year we age is such an incredible blessing. It’s worth being excited and grateful for, and it’s definitely worth celebrating. 🪩✨🥂💜
